The RCP Companies has officially opened Metronome, its first apartment community at the MidCity District development in Huntsville. The new mixed-use district which is minutes from Redstone Arsenal and Downtown Huntsville replaced the former Madison Square mall. The ribbon cutting ceremony for the 296-unit project took place yesterday May 17, 2023, with resident move-ins starting this week. The project address is 925 Makers Way.


The event was attended by Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle, Council Member John Meredith, as well as community and development stakeholders. Nadia Niakossary, Senior Director of Development at RCP Companies, also received an award from the Huntsville Madison County Chamber of Commerce thanking the firm for their leadership.

Metronome at MidCity was the first multifamily project to start construction back in March of 2021. Since that time the project now has 3 other active multifamily developments totaling nearly 1,200 units. The map below shows the active multifamily projects to-date.


The project includes a collection of Studio, One, Two, and Three-Bedroom residences. The apartments feature stainless steel appliances, kitchen islands, den/office space, tall ceilings, quartz countertops, balconies, and some residences with walk-out access to the street.
Community Amenities include a large co-working space, 24 Hr. fitness center, saltwater pool, pocket parks, gaming lawns, courtyards with grills and fire pits, sky lounge with pizza ovens, dog spa, and bike repair room to name a few.


Metronome offers an array of floor plans and even building facades setting the tone for character on all sides of the building for the future development. As far as rental price points, studio apartments start in the mid $1,400s while 2-Bedrooms start in the mid $2,100s according to the website.
