MRP and Creek Lane Capital have announced the first retail tenants for River North, Hoppin’ and Shake Shack. The two new tenants will activate the retail plaza at 2300 Bowline Avenue which fronts the Cumberland River.


Hoppin’ is an innovative taproom concept from Charlotte, North Carolina making waves in the bar industry. It was born with a vision of enhancing the customer experience by eliminating long lines and slow service, while offering patrons over 60+ self-pour taps, live entertainment, and all-around great vibes.
Hoppin’ hosts unforgettable experiences that engage, inspire, and delight patrons from all walks of life, helping them connect and enjoy a rotating variety of drinks via self-pour tap while soaking in the community-driven atmosphere. Hoppin’ has three open locations across two states, with five additional locations scheduled to open by the end of 2024.

Shake Shack, a New York City founded eatery, is famous for serving elevated versions of American classics using only the best ingredients. It’s known for its delicious made-to-order Angus beef burgers, crispy chicken, hand-spun milkshakes, house-made lemonades, beer, wine, and more.

River North is a transformational mixed-use destination along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. Adjacent to Top Golf and Oracle’s planned 70-acre Nashville campus. The soon-to-be-delivered first phase of River North includes four buildings which will consist of 651 apartments, a 4-story, 78,000 square foot creative office building and 73,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. With pedestrian-oriented streetscapes, restaurants, shopping, green space and riverfront views, River North will be the new hub for those seeking waterfront dining, nightlife, and outdoor recreation. River North is also convenient to all that Downtown, Germantown, East Nashville and the revitalized East Bank have to offer. Both Hoppin and Shake Shack are slated to open before the end of the year.
