The project is located next to the proposed Nashville Riverside Development. The Riverside development includes building heights up to 25-stories, will be divided into at least two phases, and anticipates nearly 15 years to complete. The planned major road through River Side (Main Street) will also extend to the New Cumberland development at River Pearl Place. This makes New Cumberland the first planned-community with direct access to the proposed 5-Million SF development site.
Properties at New Cumberland will feature 76 Non-owner-occupied short-term rentals in Phases I & II. Each home will feature 4 bedrooms, 2-car garages, hydraulic elevators, rooftops with skyline views, 8-person hot tubs, and cabanas. Featured finishes include real oakwood floors and Kucht–brand stove, oven refrigerator, range, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The developer has begun presales where the homes will start at $1.1 Million. There are also plans for a mix of owner-occupied townhomes and flats in future phases.

Amenities at New Cumberland will include a community pool, community general store, EV charging stations, open green space, on-site security, and potential future riverfront dock. The project is also 5 minutes away from Lock One Marina, where the Game Day River Water Taxi currently operates to Nissan Stadium.
