Elmington Capital Group is planning a new multifamily development along West Trinity Lane in North Nashville. The project emphasizes family-sized apartments, filling a nearly nonexistent supply of 4-bedroom rental apartments options. The property is located at 869 West Trinity Lane.

The Property Owners received SP Approval in the February 13, 2020, Metro Planning Commission meeting which permitted a max of 427-units on the 26.43-acre site. However, the submitted plan for approval is only for 184-units and occupies 13.29-acres of the overall site. Although the ordinance did not indicate that the project would be phased, Elmington has developed portions of previously rezoned properties, similar to the Curtis Property a few blocks up the road. The map below shows the overall plan vs. the submitted plan for approval for context.

The project also joins an assemblage of new multifamily housing options on West Trinity Lane, between Free Silver & Old Buena Vista Roads. With the inclusion of this development, public records indicate that there are approximately 1,364 multifamily units and 81 townhomes along the 1-mile segment. These projects are either planned, under construction, or recently completed. The project is also located near the planned Riverside development.

A request has been submitted for final site plan approval. Once approved the request will permit 184 multi-family residential units, on the 13.29-acre site. The request was made by Catalyst Design Group on behalf of Cove Residential Holdings III LLC, the Property Owner. Here’s the quick rundown:
