The group behind a recently proposed hotel in PieTown, is also proposing the renovation and addition of an adjacent warehouse. The property will look to bring back and enhance the details of the brick facade building; and transform it into a swanky restaurant space. The project is located at 720 Ewing Avenue.
A request has been submitted for concept plan approval for the property which is zoned DTC. Once approved, the request will advance the permit to allow the renovation and addition for two restaurant spaces on the 0.58 acre site. The request was made by Dryden Architecture and Design on behalf of the property Owner. Here’s the quick rundown:

On the interior, the space is divided to accommodate two substantially curated restaurants. The conceptual layout shows multiple bar and seating configurations as well as dedicated covered patios for each tenant. The exterior facade will get a major upgrade with lots of new windows cutouts in the existing building, as it becomes clad in aluminum cased windows throughout.

Shon for context only.
Nashville-based landscape architect, Hawkins Partners, will go to work on the exterior with addition of street trees and incorporating a number of trees and shrubs throughout the patios and bioretention elements.
The project is slated for the 5/22/2025 Metro Planning Commission agenda,
