Tennessee Oncology, which treats nearly half of the cancer patients in the State, has opened the doors to patients at the new state-of-the-art cancer center in Midtown. The new facility is situated between Centennial Medical Center and Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown at 322 22nd Avenue North.

“From our founding in 1976, to launching clinical research in the 1990s, to expanding across Tennessee in the 2000s, and adding diverse specialties in the 2020s—Tennessee Oncology has always remained true to its mission: to provide patients with high-quality, compassionate cancer care and clinical research close to home,” said Natalie Dickson, MD, CEO and President of Tennessee Oncology. “Welcoming patients into our new flagship center marks an exciting next chapter – one that continues to put Tennessee patients first at every step of our journey.”

The new flagship cancer center encompasses 200,000 square feet and features three levels of underground parking and five main floors above ground dedicated to patient care, innovation, and collaboration. It will also house the corporate office of Tennessee Oncology’s management service partner, OneOncology. OneOncology will move into the new center early next year.
The opening also marks a major milestone in the organization’s nearly 50-year legacy of delivering high-quality, compassionate cancer care throughout Tennessee. The new center will welcome patients to its Oncology and Hematology Clinic, as well as Centers for Blood Cancers.

The location offers advanced medical imaging services—including CT, MRI, and PET/CT. In August, Park Pharmacy, Tennessee Oncology’s medically integrated specialty pharmacy, will begin dispensing oral and injectable oncology therapies. In November, the Greco Hainsworth Centers for Research – Drug Development will begin operating onsite, further expanding access to cutting-edge clinical trials.
Tennessee Oncology will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception on July 30 to formally introduce the center to the Nashville healthcare community.
