Chicago-based LG Group continues to make progress at its upcoming Music Row Tower in Midtown Nashville. Phase 1 of the project was recently completed and includes a new US Bank on the ground floor along Broadway. Phase 2 includes the 20-story residential tower above the bank and will feature 396 high-end, market rate residential units. The site is centrally located between Vanderbilt University, Midtown Medical Center, and Downtown Nashville at 1740 Division Street.

1740 Division marks the 3rd tower currently under construction in Midtown and the 2nd in the area by a Chicago Developer. This is also the 2nd tower currently under construction by Brasfield & Gorrie as the contractor is excavating for an upcoming Gulch tower down the road. Together these projects continue the expansion of livability in Midtown as it continues to establish itself as a destination in the Nashville urban core.

Designed by Norr, 1740 Division incorporates a chevron-like shape that is repeated in a layered approach throughout the building. Overall, the ground floor is anchored by the lobby on Division Street. The parking deck is also located on the ground floor and rises to level 3. The mezzanines created by the parking deck on levels 2 & 3, allow for higher ceilings in the fitness center and studio lofts facing division street.

The remainder of residential units are on levels 4-19 and all showcase massive floor-to-ceiling windows. The units above the podium feature walkout terraces while balconies are deployed in locations along the building’s facade.
Level 20 has an amenity deck which spans from Division Street to Broadway, one of the largest in the market. Amenities in the upcoming tower include a green rooftop with outdoor lounge, pool, hot tub, fire pit, an indoor area with a library, living room, a private dining room, a large coworking area, and state-of-the-art sports simulator. Entertainment-focused public amenities include podcast, recording, and rehearsal studio spaces, respectively. Here’s the quick rundown:
