A new open air event venue has opened at The Union Station, The trestle and Alligator Bar. Located below Broadway, the venue transforms the structure of the historic platform structure or trestle, into a new 350+ capacity event space. The venue is also connected to the upcoming Ascension Saint Thomas Landing, a new linear park at Nashville Yards. The Union Station is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection and is located at 1001 Broadway.

The Trestle pays homage to Nashville’s history and the vibrant Union Station. Defined as a support framework – a trestle is traditionally made of wood or metal – that carries the weight of a bridge or platform. For The Union Station Hotel, The Trestle is a fresh event space nestled beneath Nashville’s historic bridge, inspired by the resilient strength and elegant support of the trestle structure.
The vision behind the new venue was to embody the city’s legacy of connectivity and movement—transforming it into a hidden, intimate sanctuary beneath Nashville’s lively streets.

Located between the Trestle & The Landings Pickleball Courts is Alligator Bar. The 36+seated outdoor bar intends to celebrate Nashville’s past with a playful nod to the two alligator pools (1900–1919) once found at Union Station’s track level. Alligator Bar is a gathering place for Nashville Yards residents, local professionals, and neighbors looking for a happy hour escape, as well as hotel guests, pickleball players, and curious travelers.
