Southern Land Company (SLC), has started construction on Fairington Club, a modern amenity center for homeowners and their guests at Fairington, SLC’s new 373-acre master-planned community in Nolensville. The Nashville-based national real estate developer, known for its award-winning master-planned and mixed-use communities, announced the community development milestone six months after the first homeowners moved into Fairington. Choate Construction is serving as the general contractor for the project. The development is located at 2235 McFarlin Rd.

“While Fairington is still in its early stages of development and construction, we’re prioritizing what matters most—giving homeowners swift access to the inspired club living that defines this community,” said Brian Sewell, SLC President and COO. “Once complete, Fairington Club will provide homeowners a dedicated space for fitness, wellness, and social engagement, and will serve as one of the unique destinations within the community.”

Comprised of more than 10,000 square feet, Fairington Club’s amenity spaces will span two primary buildings—one outfitted for fitness offerings and a second designed for neighborly gatherings and programming. A third building will be dedicated to the community’s resort-inspired swimming pool.
Situated on more than four acres, Fairington Club will provide homeowners with cardio, movement, and strength studios; a teaching kitchen; a “Craft & Create” room; event lawns; a basketball court; tennis and pickleball courts. The aforementioned swimming pool with a water slide; fire pits; and a dog park. A dedicated community lifestyle manager will also join our team to facilitate special events and engaging programming, amplifying the homeowner experience.

Fairington Club will be part of the Village Commons, a mixed-use destination that will also include 15,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. While Fairington Club is exclusively for homeowners and their guests, the commercial component of Village Commons will be open to the public. The Club is expected to open in 2027.
“Community and connection are the foundation of all SLC communities,” said Sewell. “With the groundbreaking complete, we are well on our way to introducing Fairington’s central hub of activity for homeowners, their families, and guests.”

Upon completion, Fairington will consist of more than 700 homes, bringing new housing options to Nolensville. Fairington will feature single-family residences and townhomes in various sizes and architectural styles.
All homes are designed by SLC’s single-family architecture team and built by SLC Homes, the company’s homebuilding division. Signature features throughout the community include welcoming front porches for relaxing and gathering with neighbors, sidewalks along every street, and meticulously curated landscaping by SLC’s landscape architecture team. Home prices start in the mid-$800,000s.

Fairington’s master plan also includes 160 acres of open green space, parks, and walking trails designed to preserve the community’s natural beauty and seamlessly integrate with the greater Nolensville area. Additionally, a select parcel within the community will serve as the site for a future public elementary school for Williamson County Schools.
