Albion Residential today announced that the recently opened Albion Music Row tower has fully leased its more than 10,000 SF of retail space. Dragon Alley and Surefire Coffee Co. will soon call the 29-story residential tower in Midtown Nashville home. Albion Music Row is located at 1501 McGavock Street.
“We are excited to welcome Dragon Alley and Surefire Coffee to Albion Music Row,” said Andrew Yule, Albion Residential Executive Vice President of Development and Construction. “These are two very different but highly complementary concepts that can create activity throughout the day, continuing our vision for a welcoming destination that serves our residents as well as the surrounding Midtown and Music Row community.”
The additions represent the next step in the continued activation of Albion Music Row following the opening of the 458-unit luxury apartment tower this summer. Albion Music Row was designed to be more than a residential building, with ground-floor retail and an outdoor plaza and performance lawn open to the public intended to create activity and connectivity at the street.
Encompassing just over 10,000 sf, Dragon Alley will bring an energetic Asian street-food restaurant and bar concept to Albion Music Row, offering a menu centered around approachable Asian favorites including dumplings, noodles, rice-based Dragon Plates and other dishes inspired by Asian street markets. The concept originates from Huntsville, AL and Albion Music Row will be just its second location. It is operated by a team with experience behind brands including Kamado Ramen, Tous Les Jours and Kung Fu Tea.
Surefire Coffee Co. will add a complementary daytime destination focused on coffee, casual meetings and community gathering in an addition 250 sf within the building. The Nashville-based brand currently operates locations throughout the Nashville area, including Germantown, East Nashville, Bellevue, Broadway, Crieve Hall, East Bank, Berry Hill and Old Hickory, as well as Brentwood. Surefire describes its continued mission as building community “one neighborhood at a time,” with an emphasis on creating coffee shops where customers can gather and connect.
