Construction is well underway at The Station by Alta, a hybrid adaptive reuse and new multifamily development. The Station by Alta joins a collection of properties currently under construction along both Trinity Lane & Ellington Parkway. The project is located at 914 East Trinity Lane; it is also located just off the Trinity Lane exit on Ellington Parkway.

The project is situated on 6-acres in East Nashville and includes 302-residences across three residential Buildings. The Station will consist primarily of one-bedroom apartments with an additional mix of studios and two-bedrooms.
Designed by Brock Hudgins, the signature design element is the adaptive reuse of an old automotive garage & the re-creation of an on-site warehouse including its signature bow truss architecture. With interior design by Hastings, both structures will become part of the extensive amenity offerings for The Station by Alta. The development also includes a low-profile precast parking structure. Here’s the quick rundown:

- What’s Next: Multifamily Development
- Developer: Wood Partners
- Location: 914 E Trinity Lane
- Architect: Brock Hudgins

The overall site situates the amenity structures closest to the street on East Trinity Lane. The three residential buildings (buildings 100, 200, &300) span the length of the property. Building 100 sits directly adjacent to the amenity buildings; buildings 200 & 300 sit next to the parking structure. The entrance onto the development is located on East Trinity just West of the adaptive reuse building. The interior road spans the length of the property and has access to the parking garage.
The Garage Building

The adaptive reuse of the garage building (shown above) will transform it into a new clubroom. The club room also opens up to the new pool deck amenity. The pool deck is situated next to the sidewalk on East Trinity and is separated with a screen wall.
The conceptual design for the club room includes a gaming area, upholstered booths, a wet bar, and various other seating configurations. It also includes back of house functions such as the pool equipment room.
The Fitness Center Building

The new fitness center building is located adjacent to the garage building and will replace the old the fuel island canopy. The fitness center building also looks out to the pool deck. The new dedicated facility includes such features as expansive windows, roll-up doors, along with interior design cues such as breeze blocks.
The Warehouse Building

The Warehouse Building is a modern re-creation of the now demolished warehouse. The new Warehouse Building is anchored by the leasing center and is flanked by various co-working spaces on one side and a large mail & package room on the other.
Construction Progress

Shown for context only.
Overall site grading activities and the precast parking structure appear to be substantially complete. Road-base for the new interior streets are ongoing. Underground utilities, foundation work, and the elevator shaft are being installed at Building 100. Buildings 200 & 300 appear to start site prep for underground utilities and foundation work. Preliminary work on the new amenity buildings and pool deck also appear to be taking place.
