California Closets of Tennessee will hold a ribbon cutting today at its completely overhauled showroom located at 420 Cool Springs Blvd. California Closets of Tennessee is led Locally by Kurt Schusterman who acquired the franchise in 2015 which included rights to the business across the state of Tennessee and North Alabama (Huntsville).
“We are thrilled to be one of the first locations in the country to deliver California Closets’ beautiful new finishes to our customer base in Middle Tennessee and beyond. We can’t wait to reopen our showroom doors to clients to see the opportunities and inspiration it brings,”
— Kurt Schusterman, owner of California Closets of Tennessee
Since Schusterman’s acquisition, the operation’s headcount in Nashville has tripled to 60 people, and its revenue has grown six-fold according to the release. He credits this growth to continued reinvestment into the company and its operations and technologies as well as a community-and-customer focused initiative that launched in 2015 and ensures a top-of-market experience from consultation to installation. A consistent innovation leader with the global franchise, California Closets of Tennessee won Top Franchise of the Year in 2020 out of more than 150 showrooms throughout North and South America.
This success led to the opening of the aforementioned California Closets of Tennessee’s Center of Excellence in 2021, which houses the company’s administrative offices and state-of-the-art production facility at 2601 Winford Avenue.
