Developed by Tidal Real Estate Partners (Tidal), the 25-story 1111 Church tower will soon be home to Puttshack. The upscale mini golf, bar, and restaurant will soon anchor the ground floor along 12th Avenue North, Grundy Street , and Comers Alley. Brokered by OJAS, the UK-based venue has expanded across the US and will occupy more than 26,000 SF. There is still more than 16,000 SF of leasable retail space at 1111 Church with more to come at Tidal’s two other adjacent developments. The address for Puttshack is 138 12th Avenue North.
Puttshack will primarily occupy 12th Avenue North although the venue fronts three sides of the ground floor. There are also three levels of shared parking above the retail shell with approximately 150 public parking spaces. The venue features a massive bar and restaurant, large private dining room, and two mini golf courses. The Nashville location will feature two 9 hole mini golf courses named Beer Pong & Ring of Fire and uses its patented trackball technology. There are also tables at each of the holes to give patrons the opportunity to drink while playing games.
There is another 13,540 SF of demisable retail located near the corner of Comers Alley & Grundy Street. Situated across from Pins Mechanical, this retail shell will extend the pedestrian activation through Comers Alley from Grundy Street to the monument stair shared by 1111 Church & 125 11th Avenue South. There is also 2,850 SF of outdoor seating space.
There is 3,499 SF of retail near the entrance along the Church Street overpass. The highly visible retail space is situated between the entrance into the parking garage and the monument stairs down to Comers alley. This location makes the retail shell accessible to both pedestrians and vehicles. The upper Church Street retail shell features 15-feet ceilings.
The trio of towers developed by Tidal will further the evolution of gulch central with class leading architecture and placemaking by ESa. 1111 Church Street in 2022 and was followed by the announcement of its immediate neighbor 125 11th Avenue South. There is a little over 16,000 SF of retail at this 30-story tower. The retail for this project is primarily situated on 11th Avenue North across from Asurion’s headquarters. “1111 is the first of several assets slated to be built in the Central Gulch by Tidal including the Nashville Edition, 125 Eleventh Avenue and others. The tower will serve as an anchor in the South’s best live, work and play neighborhood.”
— Ken Copeland, President
Tidal’s project will serve as an anchor to the north Gulch, offering an experiential retail mix. The density at the project and in the surrounding neighborhood lends itself to an incredible opportunity for various retail uses to experience great success from both the daytime and nighttime population. We are excited to bring the retail space here to market and further bring this pocket of the Gulch to life.
