Developer Hearthstone Properties announced the start of phase 2 at its Fountains at Gateway mixed-use district. Designed by Paradym Studio, Two Fountains Plaza is a 6-story mass-timber structure. The developer also noted that this will mark the largest mass-timber structure in the state coming in at 212,000 SF. The project will feature 50,000 square feet of corporate office space which will serve companies of all sizes, similar to a co-working space. There are also three floors of luxury condominiums named Atrium At Fountains. The condos are situated above the office space and will surround an enclosed atrium. The development will also expand the existing retail options with the new boutique retail space, a fitness studio, and new eatery. The project is located in Murfreesboro just 30 minutes from Downtown Nashville.
“Our corporate office niche moving forward builds upon the Studio at Fountains office suites model we created in the early phase of the pandemic. At a time when corporate office users were downsizing or looking for multiple satellites for their teams to work closer to home, we created a format tailored for this new mindset and quickly filled all 40,000 square feet of Studio space. This latest edition of Studio raises the bar even higher with 50,000 square feet of furnished class-A spaces to accommodate companies from one to 100. After touring [with our Architect] the top shared-office concepts around the country and in London, we’ve taken the best elements and feel we have created an unparalleled concept that balances individual and team spaces.”Scott Graby – President of Hearthstone Group
“We are thrilled about the potential of Mass Timber and the benefits it provides. Working with Scott and seeing his passion for this innovative structural technology grow since our initial introduction has been fantastic. We firmly believe that using Mass Timber construction will provide a more ecologically sustainable approach by sequestering carbon and serving as a carbon sink. Not only that, but it will offer more visually appealing structures to users and faster construction times for developers. With several more Mass Timber projects already in progress, we aim to become a leading expert in the technology within the local community.”Tyler Thayer – Founder & Principal at Paradym Studio
