Queens Wedgewood-Houston (Queens) is a new mixed-use apartment community by developer Proffitt Dixon Partners. The residences at Queens will usher in the first generation of high-density residential development for the former warehouse site. The community is now leasing the first phase of apartments in its anchor building at the corner of Hagan Street and Hamilton Avenue. The project is located at 715 Hagan Street.

The Property

Designed by architectural firms EOA and Manuel Zeitlin Architects, Queens includes 220 residences across three buildings, +\- 3,000 SF of office space, and a restaurant. The project features an enhanced outdoor experience and activation which includes new plazas, green spaces, tree canopy, and dog park integrated into the public space. The phase 1 building is defined by its dark green glazed brick while the other buildings feature a mural across the entire building’s facade.

Amenities include a new restaurant on the ground floor with additional seating and a bar on the rooftop, resident lounge, coworking space, saltwater pool with Cabanas, heated soaking spa, sky lounge, and fitness center to name a few.
“From a distance you can see the public art that our client, Stuart Proffitt wanted to feature from the very beginning of design. It should be pretty incredible to hang out by the pool next to a 5 story mural. Perhaps most of all, we love the public park that is being installed at what was the dead end of Moore Avenue, providing a place for new residents to hang with neighborhood families.”
