Chicago-based Albion Residential has secured construction financing for the first of its two planned towers at Albion Music Row. The first tower will rise 29-stories and includes 458 units. Once the second tower is completed, Albion Music Row will eventually include more than 850 units and feature restaurants, retail, and a dedicated public plaza Tower 1 has prominent frontage along 14th Avenue South and sits on the boundary between Midtown and Downtown Nashville. The project is located at 1501 McGavock Street.
“Albion Music Row is the first project to advance and begin to establish the former Beaman property as Nashville’s next great urban neighborhood,” “With the success and accolades earned by Albion in the Gulch, our first project in Nashville, we believe the market now understands what separates our properties when it comes to luxury, design and amenities. We’re excited to take our work to another level in Nashville with Albion Music Row.
Jason Koehn, President at Albion Residential.
Albion Music Row’s site is comprised of five lots located at the southwest corner of the intersection of McGavock Street and 14th Avenue, adding up to 2 acres. The project is also part of the redevelopment of the Beaman Automotive campus. The project will join a slate of new infill developments that will transform Midtown into a new live-work-play destination. The map below shows a sample of adjacent developments for context.
Albion Residential was represented by JLL who secured a construction loan from Pacific Life Insurance Company for the first tower. The JLL Capital Markets Debt Advisory team was led by Matthew Schoenfeldt, Mary Dooley and Brian Dawson. “Albion Music Row is an exceptional project, and the construction financing terms reflect this fact,” Noted Schoenfeldt of JLL. “Albion is the vanguard of architecture, amenities, and aesthetics, not only elevating but redefining luxury living in markets where they invest. Albion Music Row will continue this tradition.” Here’s the quick rundown:
