Affordable housing developer, Dominium, has submitted plans for a new affordable housing development on West Trinity Lane. The proposal comes on the heels of the developer’s most recent project, 900 At Cleveland Park, a 256-unit affordable housing development which is now leasing on Dickerson Pike. The proposed project is located on the now vacant vehicle storage lot at 865 West Trinity Lane.

Dominium’s proposal nearly completes a mile of infill development on this side of West Trinity Lane, between Free Silver & Old Buena Vista Roads. According to public records, there are approximately 1,364 multifamily units and 81 townhomes along this segment. These projects are either planned, under construction, or recently completed such as the luxury apartments at Livano Trinity. The segment meitoned is highlighted in red below. The project is also located near the much-anticipated Riverside development.
A request has been submitted to rezone the property from RS7.5 to SP (Specific Plan) zoning for the collection of properties. Once approved, the request will permit 250 multi-family residential units on the 9.86 acres site. The request was made by Smith Gee Studio on behalf of the property owner. Here’s the quick rundown:

Overall, the project proposes 250-units across six 4-story max buildings. Three of the buildings are located along West Trinity providing much needed pedestrian activation of the street. In addition to the entrance onto the property, the plans also indicate a bus canopy on West Trinity as well. Amenities include a clubhouse with pool, play area, open green spaces, and 357 surface parking spaces.
The project is scheduled for the 8/22/2024 Metro Planning Commission Agenda.
