The project will look to become an artistic accent to the up-and-coming Pietown neighborhood. Developer MillCreek is currently building phase 1 of its new mixed-use development Modera SoBro; while civil activities have started at the 32-story mixed-use development Vela Pietown by Vela Development Partners. New retail announcements in Pietown include the designer sample bridal company Luxe Redux Bridal as well as new restaurant concept Fogg Street Lawn club.
The project was included on the July 11, 2024, Metro Planning Commission agenda for DTC zoning. However, the project was deferred during that meeting and will now pursue SP Zoning instead.
