Proffitt Dixon Partners, LLC, has ceremonially broken ground this morning on Chamberlain House, a 345 contemporary residence in historic Germantown. The area was once home to a livestock marketplace and will soon become a transit-oriented development with direct access to the Greenway. The project is located at 210 Stockyard Street.


Chamberlain House consists 249 one-bedroom and 96 two-bedroom units with plans to welcome the first residents at the beginning of 2026. Inside, the apartments will feature EnergyStar Certified stainless-steel appliances, oversized windows, quartz countertops, and keyless smart entry, among other amenities, with a target achievement of green buildings certification through the National Association of Home Builder’s NAHB Green Buildings Program.

Outdoor amenities include a resort-style saltwater pool and outdoor spa, an oversized outdoor pet park and pet spa, a 2,000-square-foot rooftop deck, courtyards with grills and fire pits, bicycle storage, and direct greenway access. Here’s the quick rundown:
