The Nashville Yards team celebrated the groundbreaking of the Ascension Saint Thomas Landing (The Landing) this morning, a new green space that will span from Broadway to the Pinnacle Tower at Nashville Yards. Developed by Southwest Value Partners and AEG, The Landing will offer a unique blend of natural beauty and community engagement with a mix of outdoor uses, for residents, the community and visitors.

“We are honored to name this space after Ascension Saint Thomas,” said Cary Mack, Managing Partner of Southwest Value Partners. “Their commitment to the health and wellness of Middle Tennessee, as well as their incredible leadership in the healthcare industry, makes them the ideal partner for this project. The Ascension Saint Thomas Landing will be a vital part of Nashville Yards, offering a welcoming, vibrant, and sustainable environment for all to enjoy.”

This project is the culmination of years of master planning and a deep partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas. Designed by Gresham Smith, the park is geared towards promoting health, relaxation, and well-being. The landing will feature a waterfall, monumental staircase, pickleball courts, dog parks, and amphitheater space.
The project will also aim to create an inviting, health-focused environment that enhances the quality of life for both residents and visitors. The Developer also announced that they are planning to integrate urban farming into the space; delivering farm-to-table produce to its guests, restaurants, and local markets, further supporting sustainable living in the heart of Nashville.

The partnership with Ascension Saint Thomas is rooted in a shared vision to elevate community health and well-being. Over the last two years, both organizations have worked closely to ensure the space encourages healthy living, enhanced access to quality healthcare, and a sense of community. The landing will serve as a venue for a variety of events, including concerts, and community festivals. The developer also noted that they have already coordinated with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Pink Walk. For previous coverage tap the banner below.
