The Nolensville Town Square development team broke ground on its $200 million mixed-use development. The transformative project will create the community’s first public square since its founding in 1797, according to the release. The groundbreaking ceremony brought together multiple generations of Nolensville residents, from the families who previously owned the land to the development team that will shape its future. Nolensville Town Square is located 30 minutes from Downtown Nashville at 7375 Nolensville Road.

The 25+ acres development will introduce a dynamic live-work-play destination, blending modern living with community-focused design. Anchored by approximately 70,000 square feet of commercial space, the project will offer retail, dining, and office opportunities, complemented by over 400 residential units. With a mix of multifamily apartments, townhomes, and live/work spaces, the development aims to cater to a diverse range of residents, enhancing both convenience and lifestyle.

Setting itself apart, the project dedicates 50% of its footprint to green and open spaces, prioritizing sustainability and connection to nature. Highlights include pedestrian-friendly pathways, innovative stormwater management systems, and thoughtfully designed gathering areas for social and recreational use. The historic Nolensville Town Cemetery will also be preserved, blending heritage with progress in a way that honors the town’s roots.

Designed by Smith Gee Studio, this forward-thinking development seeks to redefine community living by fostering a vibrant town square atmosphere. The development team includes Land Innovations, The Rochford Group, Smith G Studio, CSDG, and HDLA.
