The upcoming Lewter District office building recently topped-out in Downtown Huntsville. The new five-story, 75,000-sq.-ft. Class-A office building is developed by Emergent Properties and constructed by RNGD – with offices in Huntsville & Nashville. The property is located 2 hours south of Downtown Nashville at 223 Washington Street.

The Lewter District mixed-use development occupies 1.5 acres along Washington Street, in the historic core of Downtown Huntsville. The district includes three phases which includes a row of 14 luxury townhomes, the adaptive reuse of the historic Lewter Hardware building into a new flagship restaurant, and the Class-A office property across the street.
Designed by EskewDumezRipple, the office building will feature 4,500 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail with a front porch opening onto a reimagined Lewter Way, oversized windows, a custom brick masonry façade that recalls the historic buildings of Courthouse Square, a lobby with custom millwork and off-street executive parking. Maynard Nexsen, a full-service national law firm plans to relocate its Huntsville office to the top two floors of the new building.



Retail and office leasing is brokered through Crunkleton Associates. The Lewter District office building is projected to open in spring 2026.
