The team behind the upcoming Hoxton Hotel in PieTown, Evelyn Capital, has submitted conceptual plans for a restaurant across the street. The project follows the trend of upcoming restaurant and retail spaces that will soon establish the Downtown neighborhood as a new destination beyond Broadway. The property is located next to the proposed Walt Grace Vintage site at 717 Ewing Avenue.

This will be the first ground up restaurant space proposal in decades for PieTown; it is also a pivot from some recently proposed adaptive-reuse projects, some of which are under construction. Plans note that everything on the site will be demolished for the new +/-9,000 SF restaurant. The restaurant will have its own driveway from the alley which will be landscaped and introduce a bio retention pond.
A request has been submitted for concept plan approval for the property which is zoned DTC. Once approved, the request will advance the restaurant proposal on the 0.45 acre site. The project is slated for the 10/23/2025. Metro Planning Commission agenda.
