Construction crews have made it past the first half of Ray Nashville, a distinctive 32-story residential tower. Co-developers Ray and Vela broke ground in the Fall of 2024 and the building continues to rise at the gateway of the PieTown neighborhood. The project promises high design and art focused apartments and will showcase works from Nashville-based artists and beyond. Construction financing for Ray Nashville was provided by J.P. Morgan and Monroe Capital and arranged by Walker & Dunlop. Ray Nashville is located Downtown at 601 Lafayette Street.

The $211 million 32-story project includes 367 apartments and encompasses nearly 575,000 square feet. Ray Nashville is designed by Johnston Marklee & Associates, in partnership with Lamar Johnson Collaborative. Amenity spaces are designed by Parts and Labor Design in collaboration with Ray’s in-house design team.
Ray Nashville will feature a mix of studio, 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments. Apartment interiors will be equipped with oversized windows, premier quality cabinetry, blonde oak floors, modern fixtures and appliances, integrated balconies, ample storage, and built-in furniture in select apartments.   There is also a gallery of penthouses with floor plans starting at 1,600 SF and upgraded finishes.

Featured amenities include a fitness center with outdoor space, yoga studio, spa, sunken lounge with fireplace, outdoor resort-style pool and kitchens, dog wash stations, co-working spaces and more. The project will also include a ground floor, publicly-accessible exhibition space on Lafayette Street.
