Following the purchase of the 47-acre riverfront scrapyard site in August of this year, TEB,LLC has now announced the name of the former riverfront scrapyard site as East Bend. For the CRE community, it’s important to note that moving forward, the team will refer to the area as The East Bend in all filings, statements, and branding documents. The East Bend is at located at the cusp of the southern end of the East Bank geographically. For context East Bend is located adjacent to the recently renamed “East Point” District of the East Bank by The Fallon Company.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for the East Bank. Metro Nashville and TPAC have secured an agreement for a world-class, permanent home for the arts, ensuring our cultural institutions have the venues they deserve. Meanwhile, the new Nissan Stadium is topping out with the NFL Commissioner Goodell himself in attendance, publicly proclaiming that Nashville is ready to host a Super Bowl – a validation of our city’s growing national prominence and infrastructure capabilities.
David Byerley, Chairman and CEO of ARRT Global

The property had been used primarily for metal recycling since the early 1960s. SA Recycling has managed the site since its acquisition of PSC Metals in 2021. TEB LLC, was organized by ARRT Global’s SRE Fund I, LLC (Fund). The Fund is comprised largely of investors from Nashville and the state of Tennessee. TEB has filed a DTC text amendment to add the new subdistrict “The East Bend”, with Metro Planning.
Byerley Continued, “The East Bend is proud to be part of this unprecedented momentum for our city, contributing the essential downtown neighborhood fabric that will augment these landmark developments into a vibrant downtown district.”
