W.E. O’Neil Construction has announced the addition of Amanda Guadarrama as Project Director, Special Projects Group (SPG) to its Nashville office leadership team. After nearly 100 years of steady growth, the nationally ranked general contractor reached $1.5 billion in annual revenue. The hiring of Guadarrama marks a continued investment in local leadership and strategic growth, building on recent advancements; including the promotion of Gregg Riddle to Vice President.

“I’m excited to join W.E. O’Neil at such a pivotal time for the Nashville office,” said Guadarrama. “The firm’s reputation for integrity, partnership, and excellence aligns closely with my own values. I was also deeply drawn to W.E. O’Neil because of the strong female representation on its leadership team. Seeing women in meaningful leadership roles matters to me, both personally and professionally. It signals a culture where diverse perspectives are valued, and I’m proud to be part of an organization that is helping move our industry forward. I look forward to working alongside this team to serve our clients and help drive the next phase of growth in the region.”

W.E. O’Neil entered the Nashville market when they acquired a local firm in 2014. Since the acquisition, the local team has built projects such as Motif on Music Row, Murfreesboro Housing Authority’s Oakland Court, and a new office building for TDOT. Building on the momentum of local leadership changes, the team is looking to take the next step in its growth with a leader devoted to special projects.

Guadarrama brings more than 15 years of construction industry experience and has managed nearly $1 billion in projects spanning higher education, commercial, multifamily, and residential markets. Known for her hands-on leadership approach and client-focused mindset, she joins W.E. O’Neil at a time of significant momentum for the Nashville office.
Throughout her career, Guadarrama has guided clients through every phase of the construction process, from preconstruction planning through closeout, while safeguarding budgets, schedules, and project vision. Her background includes leading complex, fast-paced projects that require responsiveness, collaboration, and a deep understanding of client priorities. Guadarrama is an active industry leader, currently serving as a Director on the Board of NAWIC Nashville.
“Amanda’s leadership style, operational discipline, and ability to build trusted client relationships make her an exceptional addition to our Nashville team. Her arrival, alongside additional investments in the market, reflects our commitment to strengthening local leadership and positioning the Nashville office for long-term growth.”
