AJ Capital Partners (“AJ Capital”) marked the final day of excavation blasting at Belle Meade Village, its 15.5-acre mixed-use development, on Friday, April 3, 2026, with its “Boom to Bloom” community giveback. As part of the initiative, AJ Capital will partnered with Friends of Warner Parks to honor Belle Meade’s rich heritage and dedication to preserving green space.

As part of the “Boom to Bloom” campaign, AJ Capital made a donation for every vehicle passing the Belle Meade Village site on April 3, the final day of blasting. Proceeds will benefit Friends of Warner Parks to fund planting and conservation of native flora in the Warner Parks. The donation will support the ongoing efforts of Friends of Warner Parks, a local conservation organization and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to the preservation, stewardship, and protection of the 3,195 acres that make up Nashville’s Warner Parks.
“Boom to Bloom” celebrates Nashville’s legacy dating back to the 1930s when it gained international acclaim as “Iris City,” thanks in large part to a group of notable Nashvillians cultivating award-winning irises in Belle Meade. Nashvillians living in Belle Meade helped establish the Nashville Iris Association in 1931, which succeeded in getting the state legislature to recognize the iris as the state flower in 1933. This storied history underscores Belle Meade’s enduring commitment to the preservation of green space. The forthcoming Belle Meade Village development will honor the heritage of its legacy community, including its residential address 1 Iris Lane.

Along with the donation to Friends of Warner Parks, the “Boom to Bloom” campaign provided vehicles stopped during the final 15-minute blasting hold on April 3 at the intersection of Harding Pike and White Bridge Road with a voucher to Fox’s Donut Den. The blasting will conclude with a symbolic nod to donut “holes” redeemable at this local favorite.

Demolition on Belle Meade Village began in spring 2025, with construction commencing in October 2025. Excavation and controlled blasting began in November 2025, taking the Belle Meade Village site 50 feet below grade to prepare for a 900-space underground parking garage. Deep foundation work and crane installation followed in December 2025. With controlled blasting operations now complete, the next milestone will include vertical concrete construction, which is now underway. Project estimated completion is 2028.
