GBT Realty Corporation (GBT), a leading national commercial development and investment company headquartered in Brentwood, Tenn., announced plans for The Crossroads of Gallatin, a nearly 300,000-square-foot retail development that will create a major new shopping, dining and services destination in rapidly growing Gallatin, Tennessee. According to the developer, Gallatin is beginning to show strong demographics to support this level of development and noted that, “The Crossroads of Gallatin will be the largest new shopping destination construction developed in the Nashville MSA in 12 years.” The site is located at 340 Harris Ln.
“Gallatin is no longer a quiet Nashville suburb as it has become one of Middle Tennessee’s most compelling growth stories,” said George Tomlin, Founder, President and Chairman of GBT. “The Crossroads of Gallatin will meet that growth with a collection of retailers, restaurants and services that complement the community and make everyday life more convenient. This will become one of the most important retail destinations in Sumner County.”
Located on approximately 42.5 acres at Green Lea Boulevard and Harris Lane, immediately adjacent to Vietnam Veterans Boulevard/SR-386, The Crossroads of Gallatin is planned to provide opportunities for restaurants, cafés, health and wellness providers and other complementary uses.
Current plans envision a diverse mix of larger-format retailers and smaller shops throughout the center. The site plan includes approximately 30,000 square feet of divisible shop space, multiple larger retail spaces ranging from approximately 5,000 to 55,000 square feet, and six available outparcels ranging from approximately one to 1.7 acres.
“GBT is currently developing in excess of $1 billion dollars of retail assets throughout the Southeast and Midwest which makes us as active as any developer in the U.S.,” added Brian Dawson, CEO of GBT.
GBT plans for construction to commence in early November. The company is in advanced discussion with leading retailers and will share more information on tenants in the future.
