Nashville staple, Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen in Germantown is currently in the process of expanding their footprint to accommodate more patrons into their legendary space. Remick Architecture and Hargrove Design Studio are taking on the design of the 6,500 SF pavilion addition. Von Elrod’s is located on 1004 4th Avenue North right across from First Horizon Park, home of Nashville Sounds Baseball.

The expansion is set to be built in the courtyard of the existing restaurant. While the pavilion will be an open space, the design includes heaters and large fans to be used comfortably throughout the year for both public access and private events. The pavilion will feature an additional kitchen and bar, offering some of their classic fare like world-class craft beers, house made pretzels, sausages, house-smoked meats, and fresh salads.

The design team is working with Absolute AV Consulting to provide the space with audiovisual components that will create a custom experience for patrons who are wanting to enjoy a game on the large LED screen, or for more private events like weddings and parties that will have access to atmospheric lighting and custom projection capabilities.
The overall design of the pavilion pulls from the playful elements on the interior, including Von Elrod’s whimsical color palette, bright subway tiles, plant life, and shiplap walls. Here is a look at the current Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen.

During the construction of the project, the main dining hall will remain open for guests to enjoy—stay tuned for the grand opening of the pavilion in Spring 2023! For further details and inquiries contact Von Elrod’s directly using the link (here).
