Beaman Automotive is moving forward with a new-construction express service center in The Nations. CityNowNext first reported on the move in August of 2022 during the relocation of the Beaman Site from Midtown to Harding Place in South Nashville. The move was part of the deal to redevelop the midtown location into a new mixed-use development named, Mid-City Nashville. The Nations site is located at a key gateway into the neighborhood at the intersection of Delaware Ave and 46th Avenue North. The property address is 600 46th Avenue N.
The 11-bay facility has a service reception area, customer lounge, offices and parts receiving area. The flow suggests that vehicles will enter the facility from the 46th Avenue and exit from Delaware Avenue side. Plans indicate a two-car canopy at the entrance into the service reception area. There is one-way access within the site boundary from Delaware back to 46th. Permitted Automotive uses on the property include those such as:
- Oil Change & Lube Services
- New Tire Service & Sales
- Exhaust Systems
- Batteries & Electrical Systems
Prohibited uses within this designation include salvaging, rebuilding, dismantling, or reconditioning of vehicles. No vehicle can remain on the premises for more than 45 days and no abandoned vehicles are allowed. Here’s the quick rundown:
