The team behind River North, MRP Realty (MRP), and Creek Lane Capital (CLC), have announced the next wave of retail tenants at the highly anticipated mixed-use development. The mix of dining, fitness, and service businesses will kick-start the livability and vibrancy along the East Bank, as the River North neighborhood emerges from the former industrial site. The project is situated between Top Golf and Oracle’s planned 70-acre Nashville campus.

The soon-to-be-delivered first phase of River North includes four buildings which will consist of 651 apartments, a 4-story creative office building and 73,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space and is anchored by a central plaza (shown above). With pedestrian-oriented streetscapes, restaurants, shopping, green space and riverfront views, River North will be the new hub for those seeking waterfront dining, nightlife, and outdoor recreation.
We are excited for the opening of River North this fall as it will be unique to the Nashville scene, providing a first of its kind mixed-use destination with riverfront views, outdoor space, and a pedestrian friendly experience on the East Bank. River North will feature Apartments, Offices, Dining, Fitness, and Services split between 4 buildings.
Mike Howard, Senior Development Manager

The developer currently has 19,000+ SF of committed tenant leases which are spread across three buildings. They are also in talks with several other tenants, some of which include a beer garden and BBQ concept, large seafood concept, and medical clinic to name a few. There is a little over 25,600 SF of available retail space; some of which are in anchor locations at the corners of the residential buildings.
Howard Continued, “We expect the mix of Tenants for remaining space to lean towards Food and Beverage with Fitness and Service Providers rounding out the mix.”

The developers announced the first retail tenants for River North back in February of this year. Brokered by Ojas, this includes Hoppin’, an innovative taproom concept from Charlotte, North Carolina and Shake Shack. Here is a look at current retail additions:
