The Fallon Company (Fallon) alongside affordable housing partner Elmington Capital, has officially broken ground on East Point Flats. The Groundbreaking Ceremony also marked the start of the 30-acre East Point mixed-use district in the East Bank. East Point Flats represents the first 100% affordable housing development in the East Bank area, and builds on the commitment to affordable housing within the Metro-owned East Bank site. To continue the celebration Fallon, the master developer for the IDA, will also host a public family event on May 30th.

Developed in partnership with Elmington Capital, the 100% affordable building project, will bring 323 affordable housing units, an 8,420-square-foot childcare facility, and 12,600 square feet of neighborhood-serving retail. The project is situated next to the new Nissan Stadium, across from the upcoming relocated Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) and will have direct access to multimodal infrastructure in addition to the interstate.

The developer is also hosting a public Neighborhood Kickoff Party on Saturday, May 30, 2026, welcoming all ages of the Nashville community to the East Bank site. Together, these events mark the historic transition from the Imagine East Bank vision into actual construction – prioritizing long-term affordability under a 99-year ground lease, family-supportive infrastructure, and meaningful public access.
