Local real estate brokers Matt Cooper and Cameron Bice have launched their own Nashville-based commercial real estate brokerage, Stride Commercial. Founded in January 2026, the firm provides landlord representation, tenant advisory, seller representation, and buyer representation across retail, office, and industrial assets in the Nashville MSA.

Matt Cooper is co-founder and principal broker of Stride Commercial, where he leads brokerage strategy, client advisory, and the firm’s operations across Nashville’s commercial market.
Matt has spent more than eight years in commercial real estate, working across three Nashville brokerages before co-founding Stride in 2026. His experience spans landlord representation, tenant advisory, and sales transactions, with a primary focus on retail and office assets throughout the Nashville MSA.
Cameron Bice is co-founder and partner at Stride Commercial, where he leads the brokerage division, driving deal strategy and execution, cultivating client relationships, and building a team focused on delivering tailored commercial real estate solutions.
Before founding Stride, Cameron spent more than eight years representing buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants across 500+ transactions in retail, office, industrial, land, and mixed-use assets. He got his start learning the demand side of leasing as a tenant rep broker with TenantBase, then joined Baker Storey McDonald Properties, a full-service firm with decades of Nashville market presence, before moving to Sagemont Real Estate, a growing boutique brokerage. Each stop sharpened his ability to create efficiencies, build relationships, and execute at volume.
Lanier Wagster, a highly skilled broker and respected voice in Nashville’s commercial real estate community, joined the firm at launch as Senior Advisor. Wagster specializes in retail and office brokerage across Nashville. She represents both landlords and tenants, advising on leasing, site selection, and positioning with a focus on securing deals and creating spaces that genuinely fit the neighborhood and the people they serve.
Lanier is known for connecting the right tenants with the right landlords by looking beyond business terms to identify truly compatible partners. She pairs strong market awareness with a hands-on, ownership mindset, approaching every assignment as if it were her own.
