Local non-Profit Samaritan Recovery Community, along with partners Holladay Ventures & Evergreen Real Estate, broke ground this morning on Shelby House. Located at the gateway of East Nashville, Phase 1 of the development will include 195 mixed-use affordable residences. Additionally, it will include a 71,000 SF recovery services center for the Non-Profit. The groundbreaking was attended by members of “The Village” who helped to make this a reality. It included members from the Mayor’s Office, Metro Housing Authority, Tennessee Housing Development Agency, capital partners, as well as the development and design teams.
